July, 2023: Bits & Bytes in the last few years has decisively become leader in the racks category in Rajasthan. They are offering the entire bouquet to cater to all kinds of requirements and for that they have built an impressive portfolio of all major brands which include Comrack, B & B racks (their own brand), D-Link and their newest addition Netrack.
In our conversation with Mr. Arvind Modi he said “Racks is a challenging business as it requires huge storage space and technical knowledge. Each customer has unique requirements and you have to offer a customized solution based on several parameters such as size, capacity, dimension, accessories and even colour. At times you have to first study the specifications of the devices such as Servers, Switches, NVR’s to be installed to come with the right solution.”
Bits & Bytes was the first company to start selling racks way back in 2002 and ever since it has maintained its dominant position. Mr. Arvind Modi, Director Bits & Bytes says “it’s a low value, low margin business involving complex logistics but we have now gained enough expertise and built our infrastructure accordingly”. When asked about the future of the rack market, he said “in the coming times foldable racks will gain more traction as the storage and freight costs keep going high.”
