Jammu, 18 Dec 2022: Jammu Computer Dealers Association (JCDA) organized a Cricket tournament at Sainik Colony Ground, hear today wherein two matches were played during the tournament.
The 1st match was played between the Pantum team and Hi Focus. Batting first, Pantum scored 186 wherein Sunny Dhiman scored 67 not out, while Rohit Ambardar made 43 runs. From the bowling side, Munish Saini took 3 wickets.
In Reply, Hi Focus failed to achieve the target and bundled out at 123 runs, and lost the match. From the bowling side, Tushar took 3 wickets and Sandeep got 2 wickets.
The 2nd match was played between the Lapcare team and the Kyocera team. Batting first, Lapcare gave a target of 176 runs, in which Rakesh and Bharti scored 40 and 29 runs respectively, while Rohit Jandial Scored 24 runs. Goldy Jain took 3 wickets.
In reply, Kyocera got a good start with the help of its opener Lakhwinder who scored 79 runs, studded with 12 boundaries and 2 huge sixes, Vinay and Ankush took 2 wickets each. Finally, Lapcare won by 1 run.
The final match played between Team Lapcare Vs Team Pantum.
Lapcare won the toss and decided to bat. Rakesh and Bharti Scored 41 and 25 runs respectively and Ankush’s 25 runs helped Lapcare to give a total of 157 runs. From the bowling side, Dheeraj took 2 wickets, while Tushar, Sunny, Vinay and Rohit got 1 wicket each.
In reply, Pantum got a good start by Parminder Pal Singh who played a superb knock of 77 runs in 44 balls with the help of Rohit and Sunny who scored 36 and 14 runs respectively. Team Pantum chased the target in 19.2 balls to register a win in the finals.
Chamber president Arun Gupta was the Chief Guest of the final match who presented trophies to players in presence of JCDApresident Rohit Jandial.
Sunny Dhiman, Lakhwinder Singh and Parminder Pal Singh were declared as man of the match, while Rakesh Gupta and Tushar were announced best batsman and best bowler of the tournament, respectively.
